Interior Painting
Interior Painting — Walls, Ceilings & Trim
Crisp lines, careful prep, and low-odor finishes — done in homes you're still living in.
Overview
Interior painting done quietly, cleanly, and well.
Interior painting is the work we do most. Single rooms, whole floors, accent walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinetry — across thousands of homes in the Chicago suburbs we've learned how to do it without turning your house upside down.
Our process is built around the fact that you live in the house. Low-odor paint. Dust contained at the source. Floors protected. Furniture moved with care. Switches and outlets masked. And the site cleaned up at the end of every day so the rest of your home stays livable.
Our Process
Prep first, paint second.
Every interior project starts with prep. We patch nail holes, dings, and small drywall damage. We caulk gaps where trim meets the wall. We sand high spots flat. We prime any patched areas, raw wood, or stained spots. Only after the surfaces are right do we cut in and roll.
Cut lines along ceilings and trim are done by hand, not tape — clean, straight, and crisp. Two finish coats are standard so the color reads true and the coverage is even. We back-roll where needed to make sure the surface looks the same from every angle.
What's Included
What interior painting includes.
Each room in scope gets the same standard of prep and finish — no shortcuts, no surprise add-ons.
Patching & Caulking
Nail holes, dings, small drywall damage, and trim gaps repaired before any paint touches the wall.
Two Finish Coats
Standard two-coat finish for true color and even coverage. Additional coats included on dramatic color changes.
Hand-Cut Lines
Ceiling, trim, and corner lines cut in by hand for clean crisp results — not relying on tape that bleeds.
Daily Cleanup
Tools and paint stored properly each evening, floors swept, and the work area left walkable for your household.
Materials & Finishes
Interior paints we use.
Walls: Sherwin-Williams Cashmere, Benjamin Moore Regal Select, and Behr Premium Plus Ultra. Washable, durable, and low-odor — they hold up to family life and clean up easily.
Trim, doors, and cabinetry: Benjamin Moore Advance and Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Enamel. Self-leveling waterborne alkyd enamels that cure hard, resist scuffing, and don't yellow.
Ceilings: dedicated ceiling paint with low spatter and a true flat finish that hides minor surface irregularities.

Why Pristine
Why our interior work stands out.
Lines you can't tape your way to.
Hand-cut ceiling and trim lines, done by painters who do this every day. Tape can't get you the same result.
Real coverage.
Two true coats applied properly — not one coat stretched thin to save material. The color reads correctly and stays consistent.
Respectful of your home.
Floor protection, furniture care, dust control, and daily cleanup. You'll barely know we were there when we leave for the night.
Timeline & Planning
Interior project timing.
A single bedroom or office is typically one day. A larger living room, kitchen, or family room with trim is one to two days. A whole-house interior — multiple bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and trim — usually runs five to ten working days depending on scope.
